Outstanding Leadership

Head Post Advisor Investigator Timothy Karch recently received the William H. Spurgeon III Award for excellence in leadership. This award is the highest level of recognition for an adult in the Exploring Program, and there is no one who deserves it more than Inv. Karch. Post 357 surprised Inv. Karch with the award and celebrated with a day of fun activities at the Great Escape Room (Inv. Karch's Team won, of course)!

Hands-On Experience

Explorers frequently have opportunities to tour various specialized police units and locations. Here, an Explorer checks out the cockpit of a New York State Police Bell UH-1 helicopter stationed at the Rochester Airport.  Explorers have also toured the Monroe County Jail, the crime laboratory, the Office of Emergency Communications and many more interesting locations.

Training

Explorers recieve hands-on training in many aspects of Law Enforcement. Here, Explorers receive training in the use of an AED.
